Jamie and Jimmy's Wedding, Smithville Inn, NJ
Jamie and Jimmy had an awesome wedding at the Smithvile Inn. Everything was perfect, except for maybe the freezing wind, but we made it work. I first met Jimmy when the Italiano family had me come out to take family pictures a couple of years ago. I got to know him and Jamie a little better at their engagement session. We had a blast! We were up at dawn for the sunrise at Batsto Village. Jimmy is really into music, so he brought his guitar for some of the shots. They are seriously in love with each other and you could easily tell that just by watching them together.
On their wedding day, there was a cute little two story suite in the middle of the village shops where everyone was getting ready. There's nothing better than mimosas and bagels while getting your makeup and hair done! We did the "first look" on the big bridge near the carousel. I know Jamie was freezing, but she was a trooper and stuck it out. We took some portraits and videos around the village and then got the bridal party out for some group shots. That's right about when the tempurature dropped another 20 degrees, so we retreated inside. Before getting ready for the ceremony, we took some family pictures. I loved the sibling shots! They seriously cracked me up. When she walked down the aisle, Jamie was absolutely stunning and radiant. I always get emotional when the fathers hand over their daughters to the groom. It's definitely a big moment.
Everything from the first dance, to the cake cutting was perfect for the bride and groom and I couldn't be happier for them! Jamie and Jimmy, may God bless you and guide you throughout your life.
I'd like to thank my second shooter, Kate Mcarthy, for shooting with me all day. She's amazing and her images really helped tell their story.
Also, a huge thank you to Mike Hook with Lux Events. The film he made for them was beautiful! Check it out here. LUX
